Pain has been known to affect and disturb sleep. This occurs when
you can’t find a comfortable position in bed due to back pain, you can’t
lay on your side due to shoulder or hip pain, or you can’t find the
right pillow to ease your neck pain, in which you have to constantly
wake up and move positions. When the spine and extremities are aligned,
the joints have mobility, and the tendons and muscles are not inflamed
and circulation is free flowing, sleep will no longer be disturbed due
to pain.
